Ranking

The deterministic score combines freshness, unique-source count, source priority, recent update velocity, and a developing-event bonus. Staleness lowers freshness.

Developing rule

An event is developing when two or more unique sources have recent activity, or at least three reports were updated within 12 hours.

Editorial limits

FORNEWS links to original sources, does not publish full article bodies, and shows metadata only when it cannot create a safe short summary.
